Board Game Remix: The Worst-Case Scenario Card Game: Cooking

Oh no...I put cilantro in the guacamole!

The Worst-Case Scenario Card Game: Cooking is fun for the whole family. This game will keep you on edge from start to finish as you laugh, role play and strike each other in this recipe-based thriller.

The game begins with each player picking a role from the deck and hiding it from the other players.  Then, they each draw one ingredient card and players continue to draw cards simultaneously.  The first player to set down their cards and shout out the name of a recipe that uses their ingredient cards wins the round, but watch out!  Other players will be evaluating your culinary prowess to see if your meal meets the high standards of their keen pallets. Accidentally replace baking soda with baking powder and you may have to deal with an abusive husband…or worse a hands-y uncle!

WARNING: The Worst-Case Scenario Card Game: Cooking is not a game for everyone.  Side effects may include headaches, nausea, internal bleeding and divorce.  If you experience concussion, black eyes or dizziness, consult a social worker because you may be experiencing abuse from a loved one.

This is the first article in a series about imaginary games based on a real game cover. Enjoy!
